The online Effort Reporting System (ERS) allows individuals to document and
certify how he/she has spent 100 percent of his/her time during the most recent
reporting period. Each covered Howard University faculty and professional staff
member (Reference the Howard University Effort Reporting Users
Manual Section II - System Coverage) must complete at least two Effort
Certification Report (ECRs) each year.
All ECRs are produced after the final December and July payroll transactions
are processed.
